Professional Bio
Sarah Shropshire is the founder of WeeShire Mains, a nonprofit sensory farm in western Nebraska that blends agriculture, education, and community. Through urban farming, miniature livestock, and hands-on learning, Sarah works to create opportunities for families—including those with neurodiversity—to connect, grow, and thrive.
Before founding WeeShire, Sarah built a successful massage therapy practice in Colorado, where she specialized in trauma-informed care, essential oils, and wellness education. She has also served as a foster parent in both Colorado and Nebraska, completing extensive training in child development, trauma response, and family support. These experiences shaped her passion for creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals and families can flourish.
Sarah brings a forward-thinking approach to community-building and is focused on developing partnerships, mentoring future leaders, and building innovative programs that link agriculture with education and workforce development.
