From in-person trainings and online webinars to our annual Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands; from NAM’s Guidelines & Principles for Nonprofit Excellence program to useful links and sample documents; our aim is for this website to be the first place you go whenever you have a question that needs answering.

In the nonprofit world, many people roll up their sleeves to creatively address community needs. But having a desire to address them and affect change does not always mean you know what you're doing, or how to sustain long-term change.

That's where NAM comes in.

With the most comprehensive nonprofit resources in the state, we offer a knowledge network suited to help nonprofits meet their missions. If you are a start-up charitable organization, or if you've been around for decades and simply want to continue to improve, we're here for you. We offer guidelines, lunch & learns, seminars, workshops and other professional development activities, based on the 12 areas of our Guidelines & Principles, all aimed at effective, efficient nonprofit management.

There’s no need to reinvent the wheel. That's why we encourage knowledge and best practices sharing with your fellow member organizations through our CEO Roundtable, HR Affinity, and Finance Affinity Groups. Nebraska and Southwestern Iowa nonprofit leaders know NAM is the way "to give and get help." Do you have some expertise to share?
