How to Become a Partner Annually

Become a NAM Member
Membership in NAM is required to participate in the Best Practices Partnership. -
Complete the Online Assessment
Complete the Guidelines & Principles assessment at least annually. Discuss the results with your board and key staff. If you are a NAM member and have filled out the assessment previously, contact mattm@nonprofitam.org to retrieve your prior responses. -
Review and Rectify Legal Compliance Items
Review your report to ensure all items marked [LEGAL] in the assessment are marked as 'Yes' or 'N/A'. Verify that any legal compliance gaps have been addressed. -
Submit Your Legal Compliance ResolutionDownload, sign, and submit the Legal Compliance Resolution to mattm@nonprofitam.org, declaring your organization’s legal compliance and commitment to the Guidelines & Principles.

Keep your designation current by updating your Guidelines & Principles assessment annually.
