WCA 39th Annual Tribute to Women Luncheon (La Vista)

Tribute to Women shines the spotlight on deserving women whose work, dedication and commitment have made a difference in Omaha. Proceeds will directly benefit survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking right here in our community.

This year’s Tribute to Women luncheon will be on June 24, 2026, from noon to 1:00 P.M. at Embassy Suites La Vista Hotel & Conference Center. The event’s Honorary Chair will be Beth Whited, retired President of Union Pacific, and the keynote speaker will be Dr. Joann Schaefer-Haines, who will share her personal story of losing a loved one to domestic violence.

The 2026 Tribute to Women Honorees are: Amanda Brewer, Rev. Portia Cavitt, Dr. Viv Ewing, PhD, Pamela Font-Gabel, Stephanie Gustin, MD, Karen Hawkins, Tahnee Markussen, Precious McKesson, Yesenia Peck, Adrienne Perry, Connie Ryan, Sue Seline, and Laurie Thompson-Piepho.
