Tina Murray/Together/Vice President of Housing
I lead a passionate team of case managers and support staff committed to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their housing. We manage programs such as Rapid Rehousing, Permanant Supportive Housing, Stabilization, TAP, InReach, Street Outreach, and Triage—providing direct assistance through diversion, prevention, and rapid exit strategies. Rapid Rehousing offers 18–24 months of support to help households achieve long-term stability. Permanant Supportive Housing offers no time limit on supportive services.
In 2021, in collaboration with Front Porch, we launched a non-congregate shelter that operated through October 2024. The shelter prioritized older adults, medically vulnerable individuals, pet owners, domestic violence survivors, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. With daily support from Guest Services and case management by Housing Engagement, the shelter helped residents stabilize and move toward permanent housing.
My professional background includes designing and managing evidence-based case management programs, including connections to Shelter Plus Care and permanent supportive housing. At Together, I oversee multiple impactful programs that strengthen housing stability across Omaha and surrounding areas.
I bring both professional expertise and lived experience with trauma recovery to this work, which deepens my empathy, fuels my advocacy, and informs my approach to client support, program development, and systems change.
In April 2024, we launched a Housing Stability initiative to offer immediate crisis support and serve as a hub for community resources. For my contributions, I received the MAPA Regional Citizenship Award in 2021, graduated from Leadership Omaha Class 46 (2024), and joined the Omaha Municipal Landbank Ambassador Program.
