Professional Bio
Tierra Harper, IMH-E®, is the Director of Child Care Business Solutions at the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative. She is committed to strengthening early care and education by supporting sustainable, high-quality child care and expanding access for families who need it most. Tierra’s work is grounded in the understanding that when children and caregivers are supported, families and communities are better positioned to thrive.
She approaches systems change through collaboration and trust-building. Tierra partners with educators, providers, and community leaders to address practical challenges and reduce barriers affecting children and caregivers, particularly in historically under-resourced communities across Nebraska. Her efforts focus on Black maternal health, infant and early childhood mental health, and the well-being of the early childhood workforce so professionals have the support necessary to care for others.
Tierra holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences with an emphasis in Child Development from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Outside of her professional role, she values time with her husband, Antwine, and their son, Ashton, who continually reinforce her commitment to children and families.
