Scott Maag

Scott Maag is a construction professional and the founder of Albert & Wick’s Traveling Makerspace, a nonprofit initiative focused on rebuilding pathways into the skilled trades through hands-on learning and real jobsite experience.

With decades of experience in construction and project management, Scott has seen firsthand how many capable people never find the right doorway into the trades. Albert & Wick’s was created to change that by turning real construction projects into training environments where individuals can gain exposure to the industry, develop practical skills, and build confidence working alongside experienced professionals.

Named in honor of his two grandfathers, Albert and Wick, the organization reflects Scott’s belief that dignity, mentorship, and community involvement are essential parts of meaningful work. Through partnerships with local communities, contractors, and organizations, Albert & Wick’s aims to strengthen neighborhoods while helping people discover opportunities in the trades.
