Professional Bio

Richard Webb, the President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands, has dedicated his career to serving youth and building strong community ties. He works closely with a diverse group of individuals, including his team, board members, donors, and community stakeholders, to help thousands of young people reach their full potential. Leading the largest afterschool time organization in the state of Nebraska, with a legacy of over 60 years of service, Webb continues to lead with a vision for growth and impact.
In addition to his leadership role at the Boys & Girls Clubs, Webb is an active community leader. He serves on several influential boards, including the Chancellor’s Board of Counselors at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), the NU President’s Advisory Council, Film Streams and QLI. Webb is also a graduate of Leadership Omaha (class 41) and the Non-Profit Executive Leadership program through the Non-Profit Association of the Midlands.
Throughout his career, Webb has earned numerous accolades for his dedication to community service. These include Abides Gamechanger award, the Young Black & Influential Award, the St. John AME “Dreams Keeper” Award, and the Children’s Square USA Jason Award.
A proud native of Omaha, Nebraska, Webb was deeply devoted to his late wife, Dr. Danita D. Webb, who passed away after a brave battle with cancer in July 2023. In his personal time, Webb enjoys fishing, networking, and traveling with his children, cherishing moments of quality time.
