Organization Overview
Founded by a seasoned Firefighter-Paramedic with nearly 30 years of experience in emergency services and healthcare, RTF, Renewed Total Fitness, is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting first responders, their families, and at-risk communities through trauma-informed care, mental health advocacy, and holistic wellness programs.
The organization is led by an Executive Director who began a career in Emergency Medical Services in 1996, gaining clinical experience as an EMT, phlebotomist, medication aide, and psychiatric technician. After returning to the healthcare field as a trained Omaha Firefighter-Paramedic, the founder dedicated over 12 years to frontline emergency service while building extensive credentials in trauma recovery and crisis response. These include advanced training in Juvenile Justice Trauma, Grief Following Trauma, Advanced Crisis Intervention, Emotional and Spiritual Care in Disaster, Suicide Prevention, and Mental Health First Aid.
Under strong leadership, RTF has grown into a respected resource hub for emergency personnel and underserved populations. Through peer support networks, emotional and spiritual care, crisis counseling, and preventative wellness initiatives, the organization serves hundreds of individuals each year. Programs are delivered in collaboration with local governments, fire departments, police units, healthcare providers, and faith-based organizations.
Backed by a leadership team with academic credentials in Psychology and Biblical Studies, and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Social Work, the organization blends clinical insight with community-based compassion. The Executive Director also holds numerous wellness certifications, including ACE and NASM Personal Training, USAW Sports Performance Coaching, APEX Nutrition, Performance Enhancement, and Mind-Body Fitness.
