Organization Overview
The Nebraska Wind Symphony is an adult community band of over 75 adults from a wide variety of vocational backgrounds. Each concert season, the NWS performs four formal concerts plus other concerts in a variety of venues, including two free summer outdoor concerts.
Our Mission: To provide amateur adult musicians the opportunity to perform music for wind band in a nurturing environment and share our music joyfully with the community.
Our Vision: The Nebraska Wind Symphony is a musical treasure and goodwill ambassador for the City of Omaha and State of Nebraska.
