Organization Overview
The Nebraska Performing Arts Hall of Fame is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and advancing Nebraska’s performing arts legacy. While the organization honors accomplished artists through annual inductions and professional documentation, its deeper mission is to inspire and equip the next generation of Nebraska performers with instruments and musical/artistic avenues to succeed.
Funds raised through Hall of Fame events are reinvested into youth arts initiatives across the state. The organization works directly with schools, music stores, venues, and professional artists to connect young people with lessons, instruments, mentorship, and live performance opportunities. Partnerships with local music retailers and instructors help identify students in need and ensure instruments are properly repaired, maintained, and placed into reliable hands.
Preservation is central to the Hall of Fame’s work. Performances, interviews, and community events are professionally recorded and archived in partnership with Red Rebel Media and the Nebraska History Museum (the official archivist), supporting long-term access to Nebraska’s artistic history. The organization also developed “Noizel,” a Nebraska-band-only streaming platform that promotes local artists while safeguarding ownership rights and historical documentation.
The Hall of Fame operates statewide with a commitment to inclusion and equitable access, serving youth and communities regardless of geography, income, or background. By combining recognition, preservation, and direct investment in young artists, the Nebraska Performing Arts Hall of Fame strengthens Nebraska’s cultural infrastructure and ensures its artistic legacy is carried forward for generations to come.
