Over the past 25 years, Dr. Johnson has served as Principal Investigator for multiple research projects for US Government and national lab customers. His roles within CogniTech Corporation, a Utah Small Business technology startup, include technical architecture, security systems architecture, algorithm design, and software development for applications of machine learning. He has also been CogniTech’s lead engineer for cloud computing.
Most recently Dr. Johnson has founded STEMistryLab, a Nebraska 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. STEMistryLab is focused on basic scientific research, STEM education, and broadening participation in STEM.
