Lindsey Jurgens

Lindsey Jurgens serves as Executive Director of the Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity, where she leads efforts to expand affordable homeownership opportunities and strengthen communities across central Nebraska. With a background in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, fundraising, and strategic planning, Lindsey is passionate about creating pathways to stability and self-reliance for hardworking families. She previously served as Program Coordinator for Leadership Unlimited and has held numerous leadership and volunteer roles throughout the region, including service on the Grand Island Public Schools Board of Education. Lindsey is committed to developing future leaders, fostering collaborative partnerships, and advancing innovative solutions to address Nebraska’s housing challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Doane University and is a graduate of several leadership development programs, including Leadership Tomorrow and the Nonprofit Executive Institute.
