Jade Rogers

Jade R Rogers is a Historian, professor, and the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of The House of Afros, Capes, & Curls. With over 20 years of teaching and community engagement experience, she is passionate about building community. She is an experienced public speaker and presenter who conducts public programs, workshops, and facilitates conversations for businesses and organizations.

“The House” builds community based on a shared love of science fiction, fantasy, comics, gaming, and Afrofuturism, while providing a safe space to explore the artistic, literary, and historic merits of geek culture.
