Damion Sayers

I am a dedicated entrepreneur, mentor, and community advocate with over 20 years of experience serving the Omaha community. As a youth mentor, I co-founded North Omaha Building Brains in Barbershop (N.O.B.B.), promoting reading and early childhood literacy, as well as an after school elementary program creating youth authors. I was awarded by United Way and showcased in media outlets for our community work. Throughout my journey, I have been deeply involved in mentoring youth and supporting families, using my lived experiences to help others navigate real-life challenges. My path through fatherhood, along with witnessing the lack of resources and support available to fathers, inspired me to create the Fathers Resource Group (FRG).
