Organization Overview
The Calistus Multiple Myeloma Foundation (CMMF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, supporting, and advocating for individuals and families affected by multiple myeloma. Founded by Judith N. Obodougo, MPH, CMMF was created to bridge critical gaps in patient care, education, and community awareness for one of the most underrepresented cancers.
At CMMF, we believe that no patient should face multiple myeloma alone. Our mission is to provide:
Education and awareness to help patients and caregivers understand the disease, treatment options, and emerging research.
Support programs that offer emotional, financial, and resource assistance to improve quality of life.
Community engagement and advocacy to ensure equitable access to care for all—especially underserved and immigrant populations.
Through partnerships with healthcare institutions, universities, and local organizations, CMMF works to advance health equity, promote early diagnosis, and create a compassionate network of support for those impacted by multiple myeloma.
Together, we are building a community of hope, knowledge, and resilience—one patient, one caregiver, and one story at a time.
