Professional Bio
I lead with a blend of horticultural expertise, business knowledge, and a strong commitment to community-focused growing and learning. As a Master Gardener and Certified Arborist with a degree in horticulture and business, I bring experience that spans nonprofit programming as well as owning and operating my own tree-care business. When I stepped into the Executive Director role during a pivotal time, I embraced the responsibility of learning quickly, stabilizing core systems, and supporting the long-term health of the mission.
My professional path has included work in education, garden and orchard management, and community programming, all supported by a foundation in Montessori education. That training continues to influence how I teach, lead, and build relationships—grounding my work in curiosity, empowerment, and practical, hands-on learning. Whether I’m guiding teams, caring for trees, or cultivating partnerships, I stay focused on growth, stewardship, and accessible environmental education.
