Professional Bio
Paige Piper is the Executive Director of BraveBe Child Advocacy Center, where she has served since June 2020. She oversees agency operations including budgeting and fundraising, program development, strategic planning, and staff leadership. Under her direction, BraveBe continues to strengthen its mission of supporting children and families impacted by abuse and trauma. She is also the co-founder of Brave fACEs, a prevention program under the BraveBe umbrella based on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) research that equips the Lincoln community with awareness, training, and technical assistance to become trauma informed. Paige holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in family communication from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She serves on the boards of the Nebraska Alliance of Child Advocacy Centers, Lancaster County Home Visitation, and Lincoln Public School PRT #18, as well as workgroups for Prosper Lincoln, the Youth Homeless Services Improvement Project, and others. In addition, she is an adjunct professor of communication at Nebraska Wesleyan University and the varsity dance coach at Waverly High School. Paige was honored with the Inspire Award for Women in Leadership in the Nonprofit Category in 2023.
