Matt Darling
Vice President, Philanthropy

Matt Darling, CAP®, Vice President of Philanthropy at Bridges Trust, leads the firm’s philanthropic initiatives, working closely with clients to design and implement thoughtful giving strategies that reflect their values and long-term objectives. He oversees the Bridges Philanthropic Fund and focuses on donor relationship development, family foundation management, and expanding the philanthropic impact of both the firm and its clients.

Matt has over 20 years of experience advising families on philanthropic planning, including foundation setup and governance, next-generation engagement, and grantmaking strategy. His background also includes extensive nonprofit leadership experience, with a focus on organizational strategy and implementation.

Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Studio Art from Hastings College and holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation. He is actively involved in the community, serving as a Board Director for the Nebraska Land Trust and Central High School Foundation, and as a Board Trustee for the Hastings College Foundation and the Julie Morsman Schroeder Foundation.
