Professional Bio

As a researcher, evaluator, health communication scholar, and public health strategist, Taylor partners with mission-driven organizations to design, evaluate, and communicate programs that are grounded in evidence, shaped by community voice, and built for impact. She approaches every project through a public health lens, recognizing that health is not only about clinical outcomes but also about the stories, systems, and signals that shape community well-being.

Her perspective as a consultant is grounded in both lived and professional experience. She was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where her family has lived for generations. From an early age, Taylor saw the power of using one’s skills, expertise, and resources to serve and uplift the community, and that belief continues to guide her work today.

In addition to her consulting work, Taylor serves as an adjunct faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Population Health, where she teaches Program Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation, along with other core courses in the Master of Public Health program.

Taylor holds a Ph.D. in Health Communication from Rutgers University, a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in Kinesiology and Anthropology from The College of William & Mary. She is also currently completing the Leaders in Equitable Evaluation and Diversity (LEEAD) Fellowship program through Expanding the Bench. With this foundation, she believes that evidence becomes most powerful when transformed into strategies and stories that create healthier, more equitable communities.
