Professional Bio
Michelle Hartnett has over 25 years of experience in grants management, philanthropy, charitable giving, and nonprofit advocacy. She has experience in both federal/state grant management and private foundation grantmaking having worked for 15 years at the Peter Kiewit Foundation and more recently with the State of Nebraska managing federal pandemic-era funding awarded to nonprofits across the state.
Michelle currently provides grant consulting services to nonprofits offering, technical assistance and guidance to nonprofit organizations and municipal entities. She has a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska. Michelle is a member of National Grants Management Association (NGMA) and Grant Professionals Association (GPA). Michelle works well in collaboration with others toward common, shared goals and is committed to identifying resources to help build and execute meaningful projects and programs to serve the public good.
