This session reframes budgeting and forecasting as essential elements of cash management, giving you practical insight into who should be involved, the nonprofit-specific factors that matter most, and how these planning tools work together to keep your organization sustainable and mission‑focused.

Jennifer Blasy
Manager, Your Part-Time Controller, LLC
Jennifer Blasy, CPA, joined YPTC in 2021 and is a client Manager in the Philadelphia market. She is a nonprofit accounting professional with a broad range of experience in audit, forensic accounting, consulting, and nonprofit accounting leadership. In her role as a nonprofit Controller, she has managed multi-million-dollar annual operating budgets with a focus on budgeting and financial statement analysis as well as cash, investment, banking, and risk management. As a former auditor and certified fraud examiner, Jennifer led and assisted in a variety of forensic accounting and litigation support services, including investigation of allegations of fraud and violations of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS). Jennifer has volunteered with several community organizations and is a graduate of Villanova University. She also frequently presents at both internal training and external events, with past appearances for the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA), the National Association of State Charity Officials (NASCO), and other organizations.

Carole Santilli
Manager, Your Part-Time Controller, LLC
Carole Santilliis a Certified Public Accountant who began her career in public accounting as an auditor with Goldenberg Rosenthal LLP (now Eisner Amper LLP). She has been a Senior Executive providing financial, accounting and operational leadership in the professional services, non-profit and private sectors. Ms. Santilli joined Your Part-Time Controller, LLC in 2018 and was named Manager in 2020. Her experience includes combining cross-functional competencies in managing operational objectives in forecasting, budget creation, financial reporting, GAAP and audit preparation for legal service programs, higher education, human services agencies, and youth & educational development programs. Ms. Santilli graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She frequently presents nonprofit accounting best practices internally and externally to YPTC, including presentations for AICPA and CIMA, and the Wharton Business School.
