Organization Overview
Little Leaf Learning Center is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization serving children with down syndrome and their families through early intervention services tailored to their unique learning profile. Our program focuses on fundamentals most of us take for granted, like letter recognition and their sounds, numbers, simple concepts of time such as days of the week and months of the year, and ultimately reading sight words. They also benefit from social skills obtained that will drive their interactions with their typical peers for years to come. In addition to these essential foundations, Little Leaf has developed a one of its kind potty training program that allows them to enter kindergarten fully potty trained when the national average for them to train is closer to 7-8 years old. By providing these types of learning opportunities, we are directly impacting the trajectory of their futures. Our ultimate mission is to provide exceptional early education tailored to children with Down syndrome, offering them the strong foundation they need to thrive.
