Committees and Task Forces - Nonprofit Association of the Midlands


Executive Committee

Consists of the officers of the Corporation and the immediate past President of the Corporation and the Executive Director serves as an ex-officio member. This committee performs the functions as they relate to the evaluation and supervision of the Executive Director. Finance Committee

Advise the Board on all financial matters and review NAM budget, as prepared by staff, and present to the Board for approval. This committee reviews revenue and expense data against the budget on a monthly basis and reviews the annual audit and 990 tax return and presents to the Board. In addition this committee serves as the Retirement Plan Committee and meet with Harry A. Koch Company as needed, minimum of twice a year to review plan portfolio (see full description in Retirement Committee Charter). Nonprofit Executive Institute Leadership Team

The Nonprofit Executive Institute is a leadership program designed to offer nonprofit leaders skills and strategies to enhance organizational sustainability and transform the communities they serve. This program focuses on capacity building seminars which develop visionary, prosperous, strategic, innovative, ethical, public leaders. Public Policy Task Force

Monitor and take action on public policy issues which impact the nonprofit community based upon an agenda approved by the Board. For more information on this committee please contact Hannah Young (hannah@nonprofitam.org).
