Why should my nonprofit website end in .ngo??
The .ngo domain is only available to legally registered nonprofits. We asked for this validation & for an exclusive domain identifying us as nonprofits. Registering for a .ngo domain requires submission of an organization’s IRS designation letter, and the letter is audited for authenticity prior to activation of the .ngo domain.
The Seven Criteria Used for Validation
Focused on acting in the public interest.
Do not recognize profits or retain earnings.
Limited government influence.
Staff & members are independent actors.
Actively and regularly pursuing their mission.
Members operate in a structured manner.
Members act with integrity & within the bounds of law.
In collaboration with the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, Enset.NGO is the selected nonprofit vendor for your .ngo domain registration.
