The Grand Island Community Foundation announced the Class 4 – Funder’s Cohort of the Nonprofit Excellence Institute (NEI). Regional funding organizations that grant dollars locally were invited to apply to NEI for the 2019/2020 cohort. Class 4 will have curriculum specific for funders.
Those selected were:

— Grand Island Public Schools Foundation
— Stuhr Museum Foundation
— United Way of Kearney Area
— Grand Island Community Foundation
NEI is an intensive, 12-month program that provides a series of monthly capacity building sessions designed to help executive directors and board leaders of nonprofit agencies. With help and funding from the Grand Island Community Foundation, nonprofits are able to evaluate and strengthen their management principles and practices to reach the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, and organizational maturity.
