More Information
Since 1985, the Nebraska State Stroke Association has been providing education and outreach on the signs of stroke and serving as a resource to enhance the quality of life for Nebraskans affected by stroke. We are a statewide resource for Nebraskans, working to educate all ages on how to prevent or to reduce the impact of stroke. We also provide resources to enhance the lives of stroke survivors and caregivers. The association provides all services at no charge.

Our outreach and programs include:
• Speakers on stroke awareness, survivor stories, and rehab options
• Support of the annual Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp at Camp Joy Holling in Ashland
• Supporting 20+ Stroke Support Groups for stroke survivors and caregivers across Nebraska
• Nebraska Stroke Advisory Council, a coalition of stroke experts who work with the medical community to improve systems of stroke care throughout Nebraska
• Raising awareness of stroke signs and symptoms through presentations and interviews
• Printed materials, online resources and editorial content for media or organizations

Donation dollars help greatly in providing programs and public outreach efforts across the state. All dollars stay in Nebraska. We invite you to support stroke prevention and care for stroke survivors across the state. www.NebraskaStroke.org
