How to create or expand your online presence through a free or very low cost (simple) website

Friday, October 16, 2015

12:00-1:00pm PST (2:00pm Central)

Many nonprofit websites are looking old and out-of-date. And most aren’t mobile friendly—leaving an increasingnumber of visitors with a poor impression. Some nonprofits forgo a website and exist online only through Social Media sites like Facebook. And still others have no online presence at all. Lack of funding for a consultant to design and develop a new website is often the barrier. But it shouldn’t be.

We want to help youfind a website solution that is easy to create and keep up-to-date. Dave will discuss how to get a free or low-cost website for a simple online presence. No fluency in HTML or Javascript required. In one hour, you will understandwhyhaving a website is important, whatquestions you should ask yourself as you think about a website, andhowyou can take advantage of free and low cost tools.
