Grant Writing 101 

Douglas County Visitors Improvement Fund, in partnership with the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM), will offer Grant Writing 101 on April 1st from 9:00 to Noon. This training is designed to cover grant basics and help attendees be better prepared to submit a proposal to the Visitors Improvement Fund.  Topics will include basics on grant budgets and budget narratives, demystifying grant language, how to tell your story, and basic financial internal controls. This training will also include a panel conversation with members of the Visitor Promotion Council and plenty of time for questions.  There is no cost to attend but registration is required.  Space is limited, register now!
