Digital Fundamentals -- What every nonprofit needs to know about their digital presence and how to maximize it for impact, advocacy and support:
Many nonprofits do not understand the digital fundamentals or how they should work together to drive results for the organization's mission. In Digital Fundamentals, we will quickly explain the fundamentals of digital presence -- key digital assets to own (local/identity like Google My Business, social media, website and email lists), the importance of Google and Facebook and how to take a holistic view of measuring that presence and its progress. In the 2nd half, we will run through steps that engages participants in evaluating their own digital presence so that everyone has their own take home items to further evaluate or implement immediately. Much of this will focus on how they appear in search results across platforms and opportunities for them to be part of the answer when local searchers have questions related to their mission or cause.
