Why the Walkathon? All funds raised from the walkathon will go towards updating programs, entertainment, amenities, and valuable resources for our seniors that attend a center. When you walk, attend the Lifestyle Expo, and have lunch, you are directly supporting the independence of the seniors in the Eastern Nebraska communities.

Who We Are

The Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA) Nutrition Division sponsors 25 senior centers throughout the Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington counties in Eastern Nebraska.

ENOA Nutrition offers nutritious and delicious midday meals to those over the age of 60 at each of the senior centers. But there is more to a senior center than food; there is friendship, support, resources, and activities.

The “Where” and Other Info

Join us on Friday, August 17, 2018!ENOA Nutrition has partnered with the City of Omaha Parks and Recreation for the event at Benson Park on 72nd Street and Military Avenue.

Check in begins at 8:30am with the walk starting at 9:00am. The Lifestyle Expo and lunch will follow for you to enjoy at your leisure; plan on spending a few hours with us!

The Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging’s Mission is “to help older Nebraskans live independently and remain for as long as possible in their own homes.” By joining us for a mere couple hours, you support our Mission. And honestly, don’t we all want to stay in our own homes as we get older?
