See history come alive with demonstrations common to life on a Nebraska farm.  We’ll be planting corn with the two-row planter, so bring the family out and watch the fun!  Sue McClain, “Yesterday’s Lady”, will be here to show off her vintage fashion, Bruce Junker, blacksmith, will be demonstrating his craft, Cliff Lowell presents on the history of outhouses, Burma-Shave signs, and an interactive conversation called “What do you know about the USA?”!  Members of the Prairie Fibers Weavers and Spinners Guild of Nebraska will be demonstrating and have items to sell, Tom Melville will be here to show you how to play the early American game of Cricket, and the Kremer Sisters will be back to provide live music!  We’ll be cooking on the wood stove, churning butter and more! Hands-on activities for all ages, lunch by the barn, and a farm to explore!  Hand-made, Nebraska-made items will be for sale, and the new Wessels Mercantile will be open!  Visit the animals, enjoy live music and games on the lawn!
