Tara Stingley, Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, L.L.P., will present on "What Keeps HR Professionals Up at Night".  Employers and HR professionals face daily challenges in addressing urgent employment issues, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.  Such demands make it difficult for HR professionals to stay informed of changes in employers’ obligations and to simultaneously focus on strategic organizational development.  This session will address several key employment law changes impacting employers for 2018 and beyond, as well as those issues that continue to present increased risk for employers and HR professionals, including but not limited to: preventing and responding to discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims; wage and hour compliance; worker classification issues; paid leave and leave of absence obligations for multi-state employers; equal pay act claims; immigration law compliance; and avoiding personal liability.

This Session has been submitted for 1.5 PDCs for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM and 1.5 hours of HR credit from HRCI®.

Registration cancellation and deadline is May 20, 2018 to receive a full refund.  Please register online at .   For any questions or concerns please contact Erin Crouch at
