The Nebraska Chapter is a vibrant and growing group of grant development professionals from the heart of America. The Chapter was formed in October 2006 and launched its first event in January 2007. Each year, a voluntary Chapter Board have devoted themselves to identifying, planning, coordinating and conducting professional development activities for its member and non-member grant professionals within the state.
In 2012, the Chapter expanded from a four- to nine-member Board structure to help with the future growth and sustainability of activities for grant professionals in Nebraska. Board Directors serve a two-year term, which requires they also serve on one of the Chapter Committees, either as the Chair or as a member. That same year, the Nebraska Chapter expanded it's outreach through increased member involvement on newly-formed committees for "Membership," "Communications," and "Professional Development." Today, these Committees are leading the way to a more robust local network for grant professionals in Nebraska.
