HEIDER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
AN INVITATION TO CONSIDER A PROJECT WITH THE AID OF A
COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE TEAM
Do you have a project that will make your organization run more smoothly? But no one to take it on?
Something for which there are not budgeted funds? Does it need “business skills”?
A Creighton University Community Assistance Team May Be of Help
Projects will begin this fall and continue through March 31, 2015. Projects involve the use of graduate and undergraduate business students to provide assistance with marketing plans; the use of social networking; designing a system to begin a new service or program; a revamping of financial structures.
Past projects have included:
A client satisfaction survey of a new service;
Assistance with promulgating a service through social media;
A marketing plan to reach young adults with your mission;
The creation of a marketing plan for a fund-raising event, including the production of a video that featured services and clients.
What you will do:
Assign a staff member as the Contact Person to assist the team as necessary;
Devise the parameters of the project in consultation with the assigned team of three-four Creighton business students and student advisors;
Provide the opportunity for the team to learn about your mission, your service population, and your organization;
Determine the Team’s Project Presentation before March 31, 2015: location, invitees, etc.
Interested? Please contact Maryanne Rouse at Creighton University before September 5, 2014 to discuss details, firstname.lastname@example.org, 402-280-2613.
Note: All projects submitted may not be able to be accommodated. You will know if this unfortunate situation occurs by the end of October or before.
