Preston Love Jr., former Husker football player (recent inductee: Nebraska Black Sports Hall of Fame), IBM pioneer marketing executive, micro-computer historic innovator (Opened Atlanta’s first retail computer store, 1980), groundbreaking political mogul (organized and ran Jesse Jackson candidacy for President 1984), gospel soloist, playwright (wrote and performs: “Adam Clayton Powell”, a one man performance), newspaper columnist (Omaha Star column Black Votes Matter), National lecturer (most recent: guest lecturer, Jefferson Educational Society, Erie, PA), UNO Adjunct Professor (teaches black politics and political science) and recent author (ECONOMIC CATARACTS, sold in over 25 states and Thailand) and originator and force behind the Black Votes Matter initiative. Preston is currently seeking his Master’s Degree from Bellevue University, and working on his second book. In 2018 his organization is taking 40 High School students on a historic history tour including Memphis, Birmingham and Selma. Preston brings the wisdom derived from his life experiences, his crusade and community activism for economic inclusion to his work. Preston is the president of the men in his church, Antioch COGIC , gives all honor to Jesus Christ. Married to Martha, his spiritual leader and his best supporter.
