Founder and CEO Amie Konwinski is a Naval veteran, of 14 years, mother of five daughters, ages 10-24, and a long time mentor and community leader and advocate for change.
Konwinski founded Smart Girl Society March of 2013, after noticing the trend toward Smart Girls making not-so-smart choices in their personal lives. Educated girls and women, compromising their values, misrepresenting their ‘ personal brand’, and being bewitched by the KardASHian inclination to be a perfectly puffed and polished package (i.e., commodity).
Smart Girl Style works to inspire girls to be Smart and Confident, through virtue-based programming, workshops and mentoring.
Partnerships with Buford Foundation, Millard Public Schools, Archdioceses of Omaha Family Life Services, Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Millard Business Association.
Our mission is to let every Girl know that she is VALUED, UNIQUE, BRILLIANT and LOVED and to inspire them to make SMART choices in their education, faith and family lives by offering advocacy through personal relationships, mentoring programs and virtue-based programming.
