Finance Fundamentals: Beyond the Basic is back--- and better than ever! This year’s series will feature eight (8!) sessions taught by local nonprofit and accounting professionals. Demystify nonprofit finances and accounting practices.
Each class is independent of one another; in other words, you do not have to attend all eight classes to understand what is going on. But do you want to miss one?
While advance knowledge is not needed, it is recommended that you have a basic understanding of nonprofit accounting/finances.

Developing good internal controls is KEY to effective financial management. Learn how to develop good internal controls, the roles that an auditor has in your organization, what to expect from an audit, and key parts of Form 990.
November 1 "Finance Committees”
What does the finance committee do? Learn how to read and interpret major financial accounting statements used by nonprofits in this session.
