About Voices Creating Change
Through utilizing the power of people, art, and collaboration, the Omaha Children’s Choir tells the stories of organizations doing life-changing work in the local community. Knowing that music plays an important role in building awareness and empathy, we intentionally select and perform music that works to open up a space for tough conversations about the issues of our time. To recognize and support the work of the chosen beneficiary, the Omaha Children’s Choir donates 100% of our Voices Creating Change proceeds to said beneficiary. Only in its second year of existence, the semi-annual Voices Creating Change series is making a huge impact in the Omaha community. In the past two years, the Omaha Children’s Choir has raised over $4,500 for Magdalene Omaha and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, respectively.
