SOLD OUT!

You've hired them and now they're on the job.  How do you ensure employees are doing their best work?  Formal employee appraisals are only a small part of the incentive to increase performance. Performance management is an everyday process and the biggest part of a manager's job in meeting the organization's goals.

Learn to use the six-step performance management process on an everyday basis to manage your employee’s talents and expertise to meet your team and organizational goals.

Participants will learn:

  • The power of the performance management process in meeting team and organizational goals.
  • How to set clear expectations for employees.
  • How to use observation as a management tool.
  • The differences between giving feedback, coaching employees, and evaluating employees.
  • The yearly performance evaluation process and why a once-a-year evaluation isn’t enough.
  • Why it’s critical to provide rewards and recognition.

Attend this session if you:

  • Oversee the work of other employees.
  • Are responsible for evaluating performance.
  • Do not currently have a performance evaluation system in your organization.
  • Have an antiquated evaluation system.
  • Only evaluate employees once per year or your evaluation process is more of a formality than an important developmental event in the work year.
  • Experience more employee turnover than you’d like.
