A free performance by the combined Shizuoka Philharmonic & Omaha Symphony!

The Shizuoka (Japan) Philharmonic and the Omaha Symphony are uniting for a FREEcommunity concert – a stirring event which is Shizuoka, Japan's gift to Omaha in celebration of our 50-year Sister City relationship.

Led by guest conductor Nobuaki Nakata and Omaha Symphony Music Director Thomas Wilkins, the two orchestras will join to perform César Franck’s Symphony in D Minor, as well as the thrilling Brahms Violin Concerto in D Major, featuring acclaimed violinist Haruka Nagao.
