Please join us for our Spring 2015 Ethnic Potluck! (please note the location below)
Omaha Table Talk programming serves as place where all people can discuss race, ethnicity and its intersections with other forms of difference in a safe and facilitated environment.
Join Inclusive Communities for our Spring Ethnic Potluck!
Continuing the tradition of past Omaha Table Talks events, Inclusive Communities will host its first Ethnic Potluck of 2015 on April 7th, from 6:00-8:30pm at the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce located at 1301 Harney St, Omaha, NE 68102.
We encourage participants to bring a dish that represents their culture or heritage. We discourage the use of nuts or shellfish for any dishes in order to avoid food allergy issues. Please bring a notecard which lists the ingredients of your dish(es). During the dinner, a group of panelists will discuss racial and ethnic identity and how this impacts their interactions in our community. Afterwards, small group discussions will be led by a trained facilitator.
Your attendance at an Inclusive Communities event implies your agreement to be photographed or taped by Inclusive Communities. If you wish to opt out of photography or taping, let an Inclusive Communities staff member or volunteer know and we will gladly accommodate your request.
