Description
Background on Series:
Have you worked your way up the organization and now have to do more with finance/accounting matters? Do you need to know enough to oversee those who are responsible for this area? Are you informed enough to ask the right questions and to be able to identify financial/accounting red flags?

This session will identify key role of the Finance Committee. Attendees will learn how to read and interpret the major financial accounting statements that are used by nonprofits. The differences between nonprofit and for-profit financial reports will be highlighted. Tools for analysis of financial statements will be introduced and demonstrated
