Nonprofit Association of the Midlands is excited to offer the following initiatives:

The Nonprofit Executive Institute (NEI) is a leadership program designed to offer nonprofit leaders  skills and strategies to enhance organizational sustainability and transform the communities they serve. To find out more information, request an application or connect with NEI graduates, click here.

Nonprofit Impact Through Excellence (NITE) provides training opportunities and access to experts for all nonprofits in Nebraska.  Designed for staff, board and volunteers,  it is based on "The Guidelines & Principles for Nonprofit Excellence in Nebraska & Iowa".   The Guidelines & Principles are best practices in 12 organizational areas to help nonprofits demonstrate accountability and build capacity.

COMING IN NOVEMBER!   The "Community Platform"

The Urban Institute’s National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCC) developed the Community Platform to provide web tools for community collaboration and action. It is an online database, toolkit, and resource hub that allows communities and their nonprofits to work together in new and more effective ways. The platform describes, classifies, and maps community programs, resources, and nonprofits; incorporates census and other demographic and economic neighborhood-based data; and provides tools for authorized users and nonprofit organizations to update and enrich information in the database, share resources, and organize and manage community projects.

A dedicated group of community leaders have been working for over a year to bring this exciting tool to our state.  More information, including links to the website, will be made available soon.
