Nonprofit Association of the Midlands

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands is a membership organization that promotes a stronger nonprofit community in Nebraska and Western Iowa through public policy, affordable products and services, capacity building,  research and information sharing.   

NAM's Future

In late 2011, members of the nonprofit community came together for a unique opportunity called "NAMathon".  The goal was to bring together a diverse group of nonprofit and community leaders to "co-create and execute a shared agenda for nonprofit excellence over the next decade."  Using this work as the foundation,  the board, with the guidance of a facilitator, created a strategic plan for NAM.  It was approved in March 2012 and will serve as the road map for NAM over the next three years.  During this time, NAM board, staff and committees will focus on three themes:

•  Become the Collective Voice
•  Sustain and Grow NAM
•  Build Leadership, Capacity and Infrastructure for Nonprofit Organizations
